About Me

Shaquinah Taylor Wright, EDM

Shaquinah Taylor Wright is an educator, strategist, and problem-solver who helps organizations design smarter programs, manage complex change, and build capacity to move ideas into action—especially when it comes to preparing young people for life after high school.

With over 15 years of experience, she specializes in turning big goals into practical strategies: developing usable tools, designing strong program models, and supporting educators to guide students toward successful futures. Her work spans program evaluation, curriculum development, and institutional transformation, all grounded in what actually works on the ground.

Shaquinah also teaches at Teachers College, Columbia University, where she supports emerging education leaders and hundreds of college access advisors across the country. She holds a BA from Cornell University and an EdM in Counseling Psychology from Teachers College. In 2022, she was named a NCAN Leading for Equity Fellow.

When she’s not leading strategy sessions or analyzing outcomes, you can find her mentoring professionals, designing new trainings, or figuring out how to make systems run more smoothly—for everyone involved.
